Partnership Agreement with Jeff State

Faulkner University is excited to announce a new agreement with Jefferson State Community College allowing JSCC students a clear path to transfer to Faulkner and earn a degree in criminal justice or legal studies. Students who qualify for the program will receive free evaluations of transfer credit along with a significant reduction in tuition costs through grants or tuition discounts. Benefits

Option A: 50% Tuition Discount

- A 50% tuition discount applicable to the Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and the Bachelor of Criminal Justice (adult undergraduate programs).
- Must satisfy all admission requirements and maintain satisfactory academic progress.
- Students must remain continuously enrolled, including summers, until completion of the degree.
- Offer valid for new students only. For purposes of this agreement, a new student will be considered anyone who has not been enrolled at Faulkner in the last year prior to the semester in which they enroll.
- Cannot be combined with any other institutional discount, award, grant, or scholarship, but students may still apply for federal and state aid.
- Standard fees apply.
- Offer applies to students who do not qualify for Option B.

Option B: Student Grant Program

- Applicable only to students who are Pell Grant eligible.
- If a student exhausts Pell eligibility, or otherwise becomes ineligible before graduating, they must switch to Option A (50% tuition discount).
- Must complete financial aid package and prove Pell eligibility before registering.
- Must be a legal resident of the state of Alabama and apply for the Alabama State Grant.
- This offer is valid for new students only. For purposes of this agreement, a new student will be considered anyone who has not been enrolled at Faulkner in the last year prior to the semester in which they enroll.
- Must satisfy all admission requirements and maintain satisfactory academic progress.
- Must remain continuously enrolled, including summers, until completion of the degree.
- Cannot be combined with any other institutional (Faulkner-based) discount, award, grant, or scholarship, but students may still apply for federal and state aid.
- Grant covers balance of tuition remaining after Pell and State Grant applied.
- Includes tuition only. All other expenses must be covered by the student.
