Legal Studies
With a degree in Legal Studies from the Montgomery campus of Faulkner University, graduates are ready to work assisting lawyers and specialists throughout the legal field. This program is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA), and graduates will receive an ABA-approved paralegal certificate along with the legal studies degree.Â

Admission Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate with a regular or advanced diploma or have a GED certificate
- If out of high school for less than five years, ACT (minimum 18 composite) or SAT (minimum 970) scores are required. ACT or SAT scores are not required for anyone having graduated high school more than five years ago.
- ACT or SAT scores are not required for transfer applicants with a minimum of 24 transferable hours from a regionally accredited college or university.

On April 1, 2025, our Legal Studies Program was approved by the ABA Standing Committee for reapproval. This reapproval affirms that the program continues to comply with the Guidelines for the Approval of Paralegal Education Programs.
