William Cooper began working at Faulkner in 2020. Prior to that, he worked in higher education for more than a decade in central China. Cooper is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics at the University of South Alabama’s Mitchell College of Business. He holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School and is a member of the international honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma. He earned a B.S. in business information systems from Faulkner’s Harris College of Business with minors in computer science and biblical studies.
As a Faulkner student, Cooper served as secretary of Kappa Sigma Phi, as well as senator, vice president, and then president of the Student Government Association. He also received an academic award from the computer science department.
In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, listening to podcasts, and spending time with family. Cooper, his wife, Xiaoli, and their two children attend the Landmark Church of Christ.
