Leanne Jordan currently serves as the Technical Services Librarian at Jones Law Library. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from Faulkner University and completed her Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Alabama in December 2022. Ms. Jordan earned her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing in from Troy State University in 1998.
Previously Ms. Jordan worked as a Nursing Supervisor and staff RN 15 years, working in a variety of specialty areas including emergency room medicine, surgery, pre-op, post anesthesia care, endoscopy, and labor and delivery. She also used her nursing talents to volunteer with mission groups in Mexico and Haiti.
Prior to joining the JSL Library team in November 2017, Ms. Jordan held the position of Program Director for six years at Hope Inspired Ministries, a local non-profit ministry. Her primary responsibilities at Hope Inspired Ministries focused on managing the day-to-day operations of the organization, while simultaneously working directly with clients to achieve the organization’s mission of successfully preparing and placing at-risk individuals in jobs.
Ms. Jordan is married to Michael Jordan and they have a blended family of 4 daughters.
In 2019, Ms. Jordan was elected “Staff Member of the Year” by the JSL students.
