David Gregor joined the Faulkner family in 2019 shortly after two of his children graduated from the university. He earned his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University in Business Administration with a focus on Small Business Marketing, a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration
from Harding University.
His current teaching load features Business Communication, Human Resource Management, and Small Business Management.
He comes to the university with over 30 years of executive, managerial, supervisory, and military experience. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Marketing and Chief Operating Officer for a multi-national drafting firm that served the industrial, commercial, and governmental heavy construction industries while holding the highest certification
offered in his field.
Prior to that, he held several positions with a manufacturing company in the fields of Quality Assurance, International Certification Programs, and Engine Fabrication.
He is also a veteran of the Arkansas Army National Guard where he served as a Fire Support Sergeant in North and Central America.
Dr. Gregor has a large multi-racial biological, adoptive, foster, and marital family. He and Deana, his wife, have fostered two dozen children of all ages. They have adopted one of their children and are in the process of adopting more.
When asked, he said, “I choose to work at Faulkner because I see the university as a ‘school of significance.’ We are deliberate about reaching beyond the curricula to engage on a significant personal level with the students that will propel them through the next stages in
their lives.”
