Program Objectives

 

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering program integrates computer science and electrical engineering to prepare students for designing, programming, and controlling real‑world technological systems. The program emphasizes robotics, automation, embedded systems, controls, and human–technology interfacing while developing strong foundations in mathematics, science, and engineering principles. Through a challenging, industry‑relevant curriculum taught by experienced faculty and grounded in Christian values, students gain the technical, analytical, and ethical skills needed to solve complex problems. Graduates are well prepared for careers in space and automotive systems, robotics, industrial process control, automation, and emerging technology fields, as well as for continued graduate or professional study in computer engineering and related disciplines.

UNDERGRADUATE

Admission Requirements
  • Must be a high school graduate with a regular or advanced diploma or have a GED certificate
  • If out of high school for less than five years, ACT (minimum 18 composite) or SAT (minimum 970) scores are required. ACT or SAT scores are not required for anyone having graduated high school more than five years ago.
  • ACT or SAT scores are not required for transfer applicants with a minimum of 24 transferable hours from a regionally accredited college or university.

Program Information

We are proud to offer innovative coursework taught by faculty who draw on their extensive real-world experience. With a grounding in Christian perspectives and morals, students gain preparation for careers in Computer Engineering.

FAQ

What is Rolling Admissions?

The program evaluates PTCAS verified applications from June 15th until May 1st. This means that we conduct interviews both in the fall and spring semesters. Rather than admitting applicants all at once, we make admission decisions throughout the year.
