What Do General and Clinical Psychology Involve?

Psychology is the study of the mind and human behavior. The field covers everything from our social relationships to our dreams and personality traits. It also investigates how our past experiences, genetic makeup, and living environment affect the way we think, act, and feel.

General psychology deals with the basics of these ideas and is limited to their study. Conversely, clinical psychology takes the study of these principles a step further to help assess and treat patients who are dealing with mental issues.
