Associate of Science in Computer Information Science
Computer Information Science focuses on software systems and programming. The computer information science degrees emphasize programming and the analysis, design and implementation of software systems. In addition to the computer information science coursework, graduates will have substantial depth and breadth in business (accounting and organizational behavior).

Admission Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate with a regular or advanced diploma or have a GED certificate
- If out of high school for less than five years, ACT (minimum 18 composite) or SAT (minimum 970) scores are required. ACT or SAT scores are not required for anyone having graduated high school more than five years ago.
- ACT or SAT scores are not required for transfer applicants with a minimum of 24 transferable hours from a regionally accredited college or university.
Program Information
The associate program provides a good foundation in computer information science. Recipients of the Associate of Science in Computer Information Science degree will find many opportunities for employment in computer programming and application development. You can also transfer with junior standing to a Bachelor of Science degree program in Computer Information Science. All courses towards the Associate of Science in Computer Information Science are taught in the evenings and on weekends.
