Program Objectives

Admission Requirements

Prospective students enrolling in the Master of Education in School Counseling program must meet the following admission requirements:

Copy of Class A/ Class B teaching or educational support area certificate
Must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 2.75 or 3.25 in graduate courses.
Criminal background check
If applicable, TOEFL Results
Goal Statement
Three Recommendations
Proof of teaching experience / Supplement EXP Form submitted to Alabama State Department of Education
