Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science

In our Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science degree program, students can open new doors to rewarding careers that focus on human health and wellness. This degree program teaches the skills students will need to enter the workforce or advance in multiple professional fields.

Program Objectives

At Faulkner University, a foundation in the Christian faith is at the heart of every program. Each program is guided by our commitment to the university’s Christian heritage while simultaneously teaching students how to think critically in their areas of expertise and apply what they learn in the classroom to the field. Our B.S. in Exercise Science degree program is designed to prepare students for a career or graduate work in related fields. Some of the paths our students have taken include:

  • Fitness and athletic training
  • Coaching
  • Physical therapy
  • Allied health-related fields

        UNDERGRADUATE

        Admission Requirements
        • Must be a high school graduate with a regular or advanced diploma or have a GED certificate
        • If out of high school for less than five years, ACT (minimum 18 composite) or SAT (minimum 970) scores are required. ACT or SAT scores are not required for anyone having graduated high school more than five years ago.
        • ACT or SAT scores are not required for transfer applicants with a minimum of 24 transferable hours from a regionally accredited college or university.

        1–11 hours (Fall & Spring) $1,025 per semester hour
        12–18 hours (block rate – Fall & Spring) $12,300 per semester
        19 hours and above (Fall & Spring) $685 per semester hour
        Summer $450 per semester hour
        Military Qualified Students (60 hours or less) $250 per semester hour

        Faulkner University offers degree programs online and at campuses in Montgomery, Mobile, Birmingham, and Huntsville, Alabama. We pride ourselves on providing a well-rounded education in a positive, engaging Christian learning environment.         FAQ

        What is Rolling Admissions?

        The program evaluates PTCAS verified applications from June 15th until May 1st. This means that we conduct interviews both in the fall and spring semesters. Rather than admitting applicants all at once, we make admission decisions throughout the year.
