The Office of Career Services at Thomas Goode Jones School of Law serves as a bridge between students, alumni, and employers. Career Services offers comprehensive career development services to students and graduates of the Law School. The CSO staff does not guarantee jobs or provide placement services but works to empower students and alumni with the skills necessary to conduct an effective job search at any stage of a career. We encourage students and graduates to use Career Services to explore career options and to learn job search techniques that will serve them well in law school and throughout their professional careers. We endeavor to serve our students and alumni by:
- Offering individual career counseling sessions
- Offering skills workshops and seminars
- Providing website job postings
- Facilitating an on-campus recruiting program
- Maintaining a resource library of materials to assist students in the job search process
- Developing relationships with employers, alumni and professional organizations in order to increase awareness of Thomas Goode Jones School of Law and to assist students in developing a network of professional contacts.
