In my education courses, I am excited about using the iPads in order to increase and improve my students’ learning. In my student intern seminar course, I plan to incorporate the use of the iPads using in-class research and presentations on our weekly topics done by myself and my students as well as student intern lesson observation critiques. Social networking sites, Blackboard, and LiveText will also be utilized as an instructional tool by way of the iPads.
By combining the use of the iPads with our already present interactive whiteboard, our classrooms will match what our students will come in contact with in the schools they will work with once they leave our college. Our hope is that the experiences and training they gain here will impact and guide their teaching.
