Cost is a major consideration when choosing a college. Though we are a private institution, Faulkner is committed to providing students an affordable, quality Christian education.
Returning Students
Financial Aid must be applied for annually. Review the instructions for Renewing your Financial Aid.
New Students
Review how financial aid works before applying. Then proceed with the following steps to ensure a thorough process for financial aid application:
Step One
You and your parent should apply for a PIN number at www.pin.gov.
Step Two
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The Title IV Code for Faulkner University is 001003.
Step Three
Receive your Student Aid Report (SAR) about 72 hours after your FAFSA is processed to learn how much college cost your family is responsible for providing.
Step Four
Print and fill out the following forms:
a. Authorization and Request for Release of Financial Aid Records and Information
b. Federal Work-Study Application
c. State Grant (if you have been a resident of Alabama for the past 12 months)
d. Documentation of Alabama Residency

Step Five
Review the various financial aid options: scholarships, work study and grants, and loans.
