Church Relations
The Church Relations Office at Faulkner University seeks to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships between the university, especially the College of Biblical Studies, and local congregations.
Services provided to congregations include:

Preaching and providing information about Faulkner University.

Arranging a substitute preacher when the regular preacher needs to be away.

Arranging workshops and seminars on various topics by Faulkner faculty.

Arranging a weekend meeting to be organized and presented by Faulkner students.

Arranging a retreat/workshop/seminar for Elders at your location.

Answering questions you may have about Faulkner University.
The Church Relations Office is also involved in raising funds to support the teaching of Bible at Faulkner University. We would like to meet with Elders or the business meeting of any congregation interested in supporting Bible teaching to over 2900 students each year.
The 16th V.P. Black Preachers Challenge is under way. Sixteen years ago Brother V.P. Black donated the income from two gospel meetings to the Bible College. He also challenged other preachers and leaders to do the same. To date 175 have taken the challenge and a total of $951,000 has been raised.
The challenge starts in January and continues through May. Would you like to help train young men to preach the gospel of Christ? Contact Sam Long at 334-386-7256.
Other events:
The Bible Lectureship is held the first week of March each year. Our theme for 2010 is "The Great I AM."
EldersConnect, the annual retreat for Elders & Wives is held the second week of June each year. Last year, an abbreviated EldersConnect was held in Southern California. Let us know if you would like to have this scheduled in your location.
