The Thomas Goode Jones School of Law is housed within the Marjorie Y. Snook Building, and is a major presence in the university. The Law School recently announced that its graduates scored a 91.7% passage rate for first-time test takers in the February Alabama Bar Exam. That's among the highest in the state.
The JSL was initially built in 1997 with 37,000 square feet of space. An additional 27,700 square feet was added in 2001. The structure features a state of the art facility with seven fully equipped classrooms, three seminar rooms, a moot court room, faculty and administrative offices, and a 22,500 square foot legal library.
