Faulkner University

The Daniel Foundation of Alabama awarded Faulkner University with a grant of $50,000 in early August. The monies awarded will go toward the expansion of the Gus Nichols Library. Since 1978, this Birmingham, Ala., based organization has donated over $60 million to hundreds of organizations such as universities, colleges, high schools, literacy programs, medical research programs and libraries.
