Come Home to a Brand New Game

This year, Faulkner University invited its alumni “home to a brand new game.” The new game being, of course, football, and more activities for alumni to share in than ever before. The weekend started with the Golden Circle Luncheon, bringing together alumni from the classes of 1942-1957. The Dinner Theatre presented a special dessert matinee of their current production, Clue, the Musical. That night was the first Blue Gray Dinner, where alumni of all ages reunited and cheered as the Alumnus of the Year Award was presented to John Rice.

Breakfast started Saturday morning and an alumni-led chapel followed. Tailgating outside Cramton Bowl rallied Eagle spirit before the football game. Though the Eagles lost this game, the atmosphere was charged with excitement. The crowds headed back to campus for Overtime, Faulkner’s post-game cookout for students and fans. Reunions of various classes closed out the weekend.

What a way to renew old acquaintances and make new memories! Make your plans now to attend Homecoming 2008.
