Basketball team ranked fourth in preseaon poll
The Faulkner basketball team is ranked No. 4 in the NAIA preseason coaches’ poll released Wednesday. The Eagles were ranked No. 3 in a poll recently released by Victory Sports Network, the official fan website of the NAIA.
The Eagles return three starters: senior guards Richard McCray and Bryant Murray and senior forward Jon Uriarte. Other returnees include senior forward Brandon Vaughn, senior guard Jeremy Lunn, junior forward Aaron Greenwood and sophomore guard Josh Gholston.
Faulkner opens its season at home on Nov. 10 against the University of Mobile.
