Business Administration (BBA)

The BBA is a degree completion program which can provide a mastery of the most pressing issues facing business, with the flexibility that recognizes the issues you face with family and work. Our courses are taught by business professionals who know that success takes time, commitment, and energy. Faulkner business courses are innovative and student-focused, including an online directed study course each module, covering intense studies of current topics. The program is designed to increase knowledge of business, as well as your own personal assets of character, intelligence, and creative-thinking.

Human Resource Management (HRM)

In a business world of globalization, outsourcing, and constant technological change, education and flexibility have never been so vital. HRM is a degree completion program that combines both, in a degree designed for the working adult. The program prepares you for careers in human resources, insurance, banking, sales, law enforcement, government, and military service. The degree can prepare you to balance the needs of an organization for better people and profits, and the need to create both a healthy workforce and a bottom line. Coursework, with an emphasis on interpersonal communications, is combined with online Directed Studies and an applied research project based on a student's own interests conducted with the assistance of an instructor. While students face the traditional challenges of papers and exams, they build communication and relationship skills to meet the challenges of a changing marketplace.

Criminal Justice (BCJ)

Faulkner's Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice is a professional degree completion program. It trains professionals not only to keep the peace, but to keep pace with a changing field. The degree can enhance the knowledge of professionals in law enforcement, security, corrections, or the legal field, prepare a student for law school, or be the beginning to a new career. Our professionals are leaders in the field, so your knowledge doesn't just come from textbooks, but from top professionals who can offer students their wisdom and experience. They apply the patience, tenacity and dedication required in criminal justice to see their students succeed, and prepare them to meet the challenges not only of the classroom, but of the streets and the courtrooms. Courses are offered completely online or in a hybrid format (combination of on ground and online). Credit is granted for law enforcement and corrections minimum standards certification. With 60 hours of coursework completed, you can earn the BCJ degree in three semesters. At Faulkner, the criminal justice degree is based on Christian principles within the legal system. Students receive not only a superior education in criminal justice, but the tools to create a better quality of life.

Counseling

According to the United States Department of Labor, counseling is one of the fastest growing professions in the country. People are choosing this field at a faster rate than other degree programs because of the increasing number of jobs available, the flexibility one finds, and most importantly, to help people. Seeing the progress made by someone you are working with, seeing relationships mended and seeing families strengthened, are some of the reasons counselors choose this field of work. You have the potential to make a positive difference in someone's life and we want to help you do that. At Faulkner, we want to prepare you for these experiences by providing a variety of classes, and experiential learning processes that you will need as you begin your work toward becoming a professional counselor. People that choose the field of counselor will find many opportunities ranging from the more common mental health treatment settings, to academic and professional settings as well. In addition, we encourage the students in our programs to further their education in graduate school and assist many toward getting their professional counseling license after graduate school. We look forward to working with you in the future.
