Faulkner University

Student Organizations

The College of Education at Faulkner University is proud to host a local chapter of both the Student of Alabama Education Association (SAEA) and Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) International Education Honor Society. Both of these local chapters offer tremendous opportunities for the students enrolled in the Teacher Education Program at Faulkner University.

SAEA provides Teacher Education Program candidates opportunities to participate in numerous educational and social activities including professional development workshops, service projects, monthly meetings hosting current forerunners within the field of education, as well as creating for the students a forum for support and dialogue between those currently employed in the field of education and the future educators enrolled at Faulkner University.

The Alpha Delta Iota chapter of KDP is available for those students who exhibit the ideals of scholarship, high personal standards, and promise in the teaching profession. Membership in the Alpha Delta Iota chapter is by invitation only. Students who are invited to this organization are granted a lifetime membership to this Honor Society. More information regarding the benefits of membership within this society may be found by visiting the Kappa Delta Pi website.
