Joseph L. Lester

Education

Professor Lester began his work with Faulkner in the Fall of 2000. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky. Professor Lester is certified by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) as a trial advocacy instructor. He teaches Criminal Procedure, Evidence and Trial Advocacy. Professor Lester serves as the Director of Advocacy Programs coordinating all student advocacy teams and competitions.

Professor Lester serves as a deacon at the University Church of Christ. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
