The Center conducts workshops and lectures at churches and civic organizations to educate the public about how to build strong families. Click on the "Speaking Schedule" link in the left-hand column to see where Dr. Donnie Hilliard will be speaking this year.

Another area of service the Center for Family Strengths provides to the students of Faulkner University is premarital counseling. Through the use of the PREPARE Inventory, the Center helps couples assess areas of their relationship that are strong and those that need growth. Areas that are explored with the couple include marriage expectations, personality issues, communication, conflict resolution, financial management, leisure activities, sexual relationship, children & parenting, family & friends, role relationships, and spiritual beliefs.
