The Post 9/11 GI Bill
Chapter 33, or "The Post 9/11 GI Bill," is the newest chapter of the GI Bill as of August 1, 2009. It has three main components:
- tuition and fees (paid to the school)
- housing allowance (paid to the student)
- book allowance (paid to the student)
Because of its newness and complexity, students are advised to learn all they can about the benefit before making any permanent decisions. (Faulkner Disclaimer)
