How to Register for MAT Exams
MAT examinations are administered in Harris-Parker Building, Room 136. Examinees must submit their registration forms at least one week prior to the exam date. Registrations will be accepted in the order they are received and, depending on space limitations, examinees may be required to reschedule for a later time or date. For this reason, registration forms, along with the proper fees, should be submitted as soon as possible. Registration forms may be submitted by mail or delivered in person to Room 108A in the Freeman-Harrison Student Multiplex.
Beginning January 1, 2013, there will be two separate fees associated with MAT exams: a $20 registration fee and a $50 examination fee. The $20 registration fee can be paid by cash, check, or money order made payable to Faulkner University and must accompany the registration form. The $50 examination fee must be paid in cash (exact change) at the time of the exam.
Two valid forms of identification (ID) must be presented at the time of the exam. The primary ID must be a current government-issued photo ID with a signature that matches the name used to register for the exam. Acceptable forms of ID include driver's license, passport, state ID card, tribal ID card, naturalization card, and certificate of citizenship. All DANTES-funded military personnel must present a current military ID. The secondary ID must have either a photo or signature (e.g., current employee ID, current student ID, social security card, or any unused primary ID).
There is no mandatory waiting period before repeating this exam.
