Jason Clark South is an instructor of theatre and has been teaching at Faulkner University since 2004. He earned the B.A. degree in Theatre along with the B.S. degree in Interior and Fashion Design from Freed Hardeman University in 1996 and an M.P.A. in Drama in 1997 from Oklahoma City University. His teaching experience includes teaching middle school and high school theatre in Moore, Oklahoma, teaching Debate, English, and Bible at Mars Hill Bible School, and teaching High School theatre at Hazel Green High School before coming to Faulkner University. In addition to teaching technical theatre classes and speech classes, he has starred in a few plays at the Faulkner University Dinner Theatre including Mousetrap, Greater Tuna and Little Shop of Horrors. He also has directed How to Succeed in Business without really trying, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Seussical the Musical, Bye Bye Birdie, The Secret Garden, The Diary of Anne Frank and Once Upon a Mattress. He has directed professionally with the Open Circle Playhouse in Oklahoma City, as well as several community theatres. He currently serves on the board of the Alabama Conference of Theatre in the capacity of Chair for the College and University division. He is married to Gina Marella Tur-South and is the father of three sons: Crispin, Duncan and Liam. He attends Vaugh Park Church of Christ in Montgomery.

Angie graduated from the University of Alabama with her Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance where she received the Marian Galloway Award for Acting Excellence. She has been involved in over 200 theatrical productions in every aspect both on stage and behind the scenes. She is still very active on stage having recently appeared as Amanda in The Glass Menagerie. Her other favorite roles include Desire' in A Little Night Music and Salome' in The Robber Bridegroom. She can also be seen performing with Leslie Bailey in her Cafe Cabaret Shows and she has been seen on the Alabama Shakespeare Festival stage in their production of Trojan Women. She holds a State of Alabama Teacher's Certificate, which is a certified Discipline Based Arts Education Instructor. Angie is a member of the Alabama Conference of Theatre and the South Eastern Theatre Conference and the Network Schools Conference. This year she will be a visiting Theatre Specialist for the Alabama Institute for Education in the Arts. She is also an accomplished playwright having written and produced three original scripts. One production, Mama Hewitt's Family Reunion and All Night BBQ, written with Jack White, was chosen to be part of the ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop in New York, where she was able to work with Musical Theatre dignitaries as Michael Kerker and Stephen Schwartz. Every summer she is the acting instructor/director for Camp Shakespeare at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival working with students from all over the nation. Angie is married to Matt Dickson and they have two sons, Jared and Aidan.
